The Esperance Growers Market is a community celebration of local Esperance growers, bakers and makers. Esperance has a growing industry of small scale producers of pastured eggs, honey, award winning olives and extra virgin olive oil as well as many home producers who all come together at this fortnightly event to share.

Country kitchens are the source of some of the finest preserves and pickles around both sweet, savoury and some amazing combinations in between using tried and true recipes from past generations and happy ‘accidents’ that sometimes come from making do with what’s readily on hand. You can also sample beautiful fresh baked sourdough bread, pastries, cakes and hot speciality foods or fill your basket with the best seasonal fruits and vegetables grown spray free with love. Keen gardeners come with plants, trees, freshly cut flowers and saved heirloom seeds while clever makers have their crafted wares on display. This can be anything from knitted hats and scarves, children's clothes and fairy garden furniture, upcycled funky cards, bowls and baskets, handcrafted soaps or beeswax wraps.

This is a family friendly event where you have the opportunity to chat to local gardeners, growers, artisans and cooks, all of whom are keen to share knowledge, swap stories and give hints and tips about our unique area, often stallholders will run little workshops to share their skills.

The Esperance Growers Market has a strong tradition of supporting and promoting sustainability. All stallholders strive towards finding the lowest impact means of making and sharing their produce but an added bonus is the knowledge that everything you buy here is grown, produced or upcycled within a few short kilometres of where the market stands.

The Esperance Growers Market is set amongst the permaculture gardens in the Nulsen Primary School every second week on Saturday mornings between 9 - 11 at Nulsen Primary School.
